The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Anambra State is requesting that the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) led government of Governor Willie Obiano make public, the statement of account showing income and expenditure of the 21 Local Government councils of the state.
The Chairman of the PDP in Anambra State, Ken Emeakayi, is accusing the administration of Governor Obiano of usurping the administrative functions of the Local Government by channeling monies meant for them (PDP) to the state.
In response, the Anambra State Publicity Secretary of APGA, Chinedu Nkwonta, maintained that Governor Obiano has shown a high level of prudence in the management of the resources of the state.
