Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the last governorship election in Benue State, Prince Terhemen Tarzoor, has vowed to approach the Court of Appeal following the judgment of the Benue State Election Petitions Tribunal that struck out his petition for lack of evidence.
In a statement by his media aide, Mr. Cornelius Hwuande, Tarzoor maintained that his petition was sound and premised on credible grounds, which if viewed dispassionately, would doubtlessly guarantee him victory. And that once the judgment is released to his team of lawyers, the Court of Appeal, Makurdi Division is certainly his next destination in his quest for justice.
He expressed optimism that the Appeal Court had a rich history of dispensing justice without fear or favour, even as he pointed out that the appellate court had already given judgments which lay a precedent for his victory when he approaches it.
The statement further enjoined PDP faithful across the state to remain resolute in their support for the Tarzoor/Ngbede vision for a greater Benue, which has been concisely articulated, while maintaining that the road to justice, no matter how long, will ultimately lead to the desired destination and assured of victory in his favour.

Tarzoor had filed a petition before the tribunal challenging the qualification of Mr. Samuel Ortom from contesting the governorship election in the state, querying that his declaration came even as he emerged through a faulty primary election process
