FRIN board members were refused access to all financial and administrative operations of the organization, according to a source, including records of budgets, expenditures, contracts, appointments, and promotions done under the Director-General.
Olusola ordered the relocation of people he characterized as "enemies" from the agency's headquarters in Ibadan to several Northern and South-Eastern states weeks after the news broke.
The Director-General also questioned several employees.
“He's been using the management to track out those he considers to be adversaries. Employees have been victimized as a result of the publishing by SaharaReporters, and they have been threatened with termination.
“Unfortunately, the board of directors and management have not presented a verified report of an objective inquiry into the claimed concerns.

A source had briefed SaharaReporters in the first, accusing Olusola of unlawfully elevating staff employees without respect for public service standards.
"As certified by IPPIS, the Director-General, Professor Adepoju Olusola, has been discovered withholding employee deductions (contributions of nearly N50,000,000) to a co-operative organization for the month of October 2020.
"Illegal deductions from employee pay (at random) with no cause or explanation, and a request for a refund (he does not listen to anybody) for the same October, 2020.

“All attempts to get him to explain his actions were futile since he refuses to be questioned. People are frightened to question him because he is above the law,” the insider claimed.
