According to APC chieftain Ben Adaji, if President Muhammadu Buhari decides to appoint Femi-Fani Kayode, who recently defected to the party, as the new Minister of Aviation, he will call for a peaceful protest.
Adaji issued the warning on Saturday in Jalingo, Taraba State, during an interactive session with journalists.
For the APC chief to be effective, party leaders must be wary of the former minister, who he called a "serial betrayal."
He questioned Fani-reasoning Kayode's for joining the APC, a party he left in 2014 for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) because he believed it was trying to Islamize Nigeria and had plans to inflict pain on the people.
He also recalled that FFK had "disparaged President Buhari using unfriendly adjectives such as wicked, dead, draconian, dictatorial among others" since 2014, when he was first elected.
He pleaded with Buhari to prioritize members who have contributed consistently to the development, growth, and success of the party over outliers like Fani-Kayode.
