Super Eagles goalkeeper trainer Alloy Agu has revealed that there are positive signs from the three shot stoppers in camp, after the home-based Eagles’ first training session on Wednesday morning.
The trio of Ikechukwu Ezenwa(Heartland), Shaibu Suleman (PKE FC, Lagos) and Nwabali Stanley (Lobi Stars), took part in the team’s first training in Abuja ahead of next month’s friendly against Mexico.
And Agu said the three goalkeepers have been impressive so far.
“There are positives with the goalkeepers from the first training session because you expect them to have been playing in the league,” he told Super Eagles Media.
“And after coming here you expect them to show what they’ve been doing in the league and that’s precisely what they’ve showcased.”
The 1994 AFCON winner added:”It has been positive. Ezenwa is here and other two new goalkeepers are also here. We are expecting John Noble to join them. Like I said the training went well and we are looking forward to the game.”
