Cyriel Dessers once again turned provider but ended on the losing side as Genk were beaten 4-3 by visiting Oostende, in the Belgian Jupiler on Friday night, reports.
Dessers also provided the assist in his side’s 1-1 draw at Standard Liege in their first game of the season.
The former Heracles striker led the line in the absence of compatriot Paul Onuachu and saw 90 minutes of action.
He helped set up Genk’s second goal scored by Theo Bongonda in the 30th minute which put them 2-0 ahead.
And after two games played in the Belgian topflight, Genk occupy 13th position on just one point.
