Paul Onuachu was awarded Man of the Match after his late goal gave Genk a 1-0 victory against Rapid Wien in their Europa League Group H opener on Thursday.
Onuachu was named the best player of the match by Genk on their verified Twitter account on Friday.
With the game on the verge of ending in a 0-0 draw, Onuachu scored in the 92nd minute to give Genk a perfect start in the group.
This season, the 27-year-old has five goals in nine appearances in all competitions.
With Thursday's victory, Genk has now won three and drawn one of their past four games.
When Genk visits Sint-Truiden in the league this weekend, Onuachu will be hoping to score once again.
