According to sources, Umar Sadiq scored and assisted in Almeria's 2-1 win over Girona in the Spanish Segunda (second division) on Monday.
This season, Sadiq has six goals in eight appearances in the second division.
He has scored in each of Almeria's past three games and is the leading scorer in the league.
Sadiq broke the scoring in the 52nd minute after a goalless first half, however, Bernardo Espinosa equalized for Girona on 62 minutes.
Sadiq then turned provider in the 68th minute, setting his teammate Lucas Robertone, who scored the game-winning goal as Almeria won 2-1.
Almeria has won their past three games and now sits atop the standings with 18 points, one point ahead of Sporting Gijon.
