Nigeria forward Terem Moffi has been linked with a move to European champions Chelsea , reports.
The Blues are in a market for a new striker after Timo Werner failed to make impact in his maiden season at the club.
The Premier League champions have been linked with the trio Erling Haaland , Romelu Lukaku and Harry Kane.
Lukaku has declared he is not willing to leave Inter Milan this summer, while Kane, who is determined to leave Tottenham Hotspur is favoured to join Manchester City.
Haaland could also remain with Borussia Dortmund as the Bundesliga giants are not prepared to allow the forward leave this summer.
According Football London, Moffi is among the strikers under consideration by the West London club.
Moffi enjoyed an impressive debut season at Ligue 1 side Lorient and without his 14 goals, it is likely the French side would’ve suffered relegation.
The 22-year-old’s underlying numbers are impressive. Despite Lorient finishing 16th in the French top flight, he struck 0.58 goals per 90 minutes and his expected goals per 90 was 0.46. He also managed to achieve 0.11 expected goals assisted per 90 minutes.
