The Rivers Angels are on the verge of qualifying for the maiden CAF Women's Champions League, which will take place later this year in Egypt, according to sources.

On Monday, August 2, 2021, at 4 p.m. Nigerian time, the Nigeria Women's Football League (NWFL) champions will face Amis Du Monde of Togo in the Semifinal of the WAFU B qualifications in Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire.

The winner of the match between Rivers Angels and Amis Du Monde advances to the CAF Women's Champions League.

After winning both of their Group B games in the WAFU B qualifications, the Rivers Angels have been quite impressive.

Amis Du Monde came in second place in Group A, having won one and drawn one.

Hasaacas Ladies will face Union Sportive des Forces Armees of Burkina Faso in the second semi-final, which will also take place today.
