Tokyo 2020 Paralympics: Nigeria's Galadima Qualifies For Men's 100m Final -  Hint Lord

 

Team Nigeria’s Suwaibidu Galadima in the early hours of Friday, qualified for the final of the men’s 100m T47, at the on-going Tokyo 2020 Paralympics.

Commenting in heat 1, Galadima placed fourth as one of the next best two times with a season’s Best of 11.14s.

 

The final comes up later today by 11.33am (Nigerian time).

 

In Powerlifting, Ibrahim Dauda missed out on a podium finish after placing fifth in men’s -59kg, lifting 170kg.

 

Dauda had three clean lifts, adding an extra 10kg on his 2nd & 3rd attempts to finish in this sequence: 150kg, 160kg, 170kg.

And Kingsley Ijomah became Nigeria’s first Paralympic Games Rowing athlete, competing in men’s Singles Sculls.

Ijomah, Computer Programmer, finished fourth in his heat with a time of 11:50.87, and will now compete in the Repechage for a chance to make Final A.
