All overdue salary and incentives owing to the Super Eagles players and Gernot Rohr have been offset, according to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
Adepoju Tobi Samuel, a former member of the NFF Players Status Committee, verified this on his official Twitter account.
“NFF President Amaju Pinnick stated that the Super Eagles bonuses have been offset and that coaches would be paid soon.”
The Nigeria Football Federation has not paid the German tactician's salaries in seven months and has yet to pay the Super Eagles their bonuses for the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Liberia and Cape Verde, respectively.
Pinnick, the NFF President, inked a four-year agreement with Baba Ijebu, the official gaming partner for all national teams, on Tuesday.
They have just struck lucrative agreements with MTN and Airpeace.
